Susan Wicks
Susan Wicks's most recent collection, House of Tongues (Bloodaxe Books, 2011), was a Poetry Book Society Recommendation. Her novel, A Place to Stop, was published this year by Salt Publishing. Today's poem was originally the result of a commission in connection with the Larkin 25 Celebrations at the University of Hull in 2010. This is the first publication of "Tide."
