Stephen Dobyns has published over ten volumes of poetry and several works of fiction and nonfiction. His most recent books include the novel The Burn Palace (Blue Rider Press, 2013) and Next Word, Better Word: The Craft of Writing Poetry (Palgrave Macmillan, 2011). He has been awarded fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, and his work has been anthologized in Best American Poetry and Best American Short Stories.
