Shirley Rickett - Kansas City, Missouri (USA):

April 03, 2001:
This book, like Wallace Stevens, never learned to drive.
Like Emily Dickinson, it knows no area codes.
It never had a burger and fries like Proust.
It never tasted a tomato like Elizabeth I, or typed a lesson
    plan for the committee.
Like Ann Frank, it never watched television.
This book is stolen from all the people written about who never
    learned to read.
This book reads right to left.
This book makes me sick of reading for a long time.
This book's words cannot be interpreted.
This book reveals the meaning of life, which you forget when you
    close it.
