After Pavese's Grappa in September
No laziness like mine, little crystal cup,
tomatoes canned, late basil crushed to pesto.
Nothing better than 95 degrees in the shade.
People like us don't sweat in the heat because we work.
The sun finds a place on our skin and has no need to make it shine.
