Rachel Loden:

Rachel Loden's collection, Hotel Imperium, won the Contemporary Poetry Series competition of the University of Georgia Press. The book is a selection of the Poetry Book Club of the Academy of American Poets and was named "one of the ten best poetry books of 2000" by the San Francisco Chronicle Book Review. Loden's chapbook, The Last Campaign, won the Hudson Valley Writers' Center competition. Poems have appeared or are forthcoming in The Paris Review, New American Writing, Best American Poetry (Scribner), Poetry: An Introduction and The Bedford Introduction to Literature (both Bedford/St. Martin's).
